Fall Fest is Coming...
Little Creatures, Big Personalities!
What I’ve been working on for Fall Fest
I’ve been having such a good time in the studio lately, painting some of the little creatures I’ve encountered along the way.
Each of these 6 × 6 oil paintings on birch began with my own photographs and sketches. From frogs and toads to turtles, bees, and all sorts of interesting bugs, I’ve been having fun trying to capture the little details and personalities that make each one special.
I’ve always been fascinated by the things we sometimes walk right past without noticing. There’s so much beauty, character, and even a little humor in these tiny creatures!
I’ve been busy getting this collection ready for Fall Fest, and I thought you might enjoy a peek at what’s been happening in my studio.
Sometimes the smallest things make the most interesting subjects!

My Journey
Every artist has a beginning, and mine started long before I ever thought of calling myself one. From childhood doodles to the paintings I create today, art has always been part of my life.
Come along and I’ll share a little of the journey!
