Fall Fest 2026
What a day at Fall Fest!

After weeks of painting, prepping, packaging, and planning, seeing my Valerie Peterson Art booth come together was such a joy!
Three original Eureka Springs paintings found a new home, along with prints, cards, and coloring books. And the first painting from my Summer Specimens collection sold, too! (my little toad is headed all the way to Nebraska! )
I went into today with a lot of hope and a whole lot of hard work behind me. What I didn’t know was just how much I needed the encouragement, and the sales, that today would bring.
I’m exhausted, grateful, and feeling incredibly blessed.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared a kind word, or supported my art. You truly made a difference today.
God is good.
Summer Specimens
Each of these 6 × 6 oil paintings on birch began with my own photographs and sketches. From frogs and toads to turtles, bees, and all sorts of interesting bugs, I’ve been having fun trying to capture the little details and personalities that make each one special.
LIVE music
I really enjoyed listening to this couple play at Fall Fest! They were so good, and I found myself stopping several times just to listen. There’s nothing quite like live music on a beautiful fall day. They really added something special to the afternoon!
Smiles All Day
A Little Mother-Daughter Time!
Got to spend a little time with my daughter at Fall Fest! She’s the campus director at the church where the event was held. I know how hard she works, and I’m so proud of her! It was nice getting to see her in the middle of all the fun!
